Thats is good news! it is a great building, do miss the old shop but the new one is nice, like how you can go upstairs and look out. http://soundandsafe.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

We are hoping to see the new Lifeboat Station when we are down in East Devon early next year. :D

im not so sure they are sorted long term. hope im wrong.
i was talking to the guys doing core samples on the slipway last thursday. they said that their sampling drills were going through the concrete like butter, and that there didnt appear to be much reinforcing steel in it.
if i was a betting man, id say they will be working on it again within 2 years.

O dear that doe's not sound so good, no way is that going to support a Mersey class Lifeboat for long they are not the lightest of things.
