:D Hi Terri,
no snow here in Leicester just frozen solid with a hard frost (the ground I mean!!), lovely bright crisp morning to take the dogs out on and with the added bonus that because the ground is frozen they didn't come back with muddy paws!!

Terri, I reckon you would make a wonderful weather girl and think of the extra money !!.
I was not that far from you on friday as I went to the French exhibition at Olympia, now I have a smelly cheese smell from the fridge but great to eat.
At present, it is 4 degrees here but with wind chill, it must be about zero although the sun is out. B)

That smelly cheese smell might not be coming from the fridge
Have you checked the washing machine?
It could be your socks!

Did anyone suffer any damage in the gales last week? We lost 3 fence panels, one of which split in half managed to slot it back temporarily though.
I work in a high rise building (39th floor) and it was buffeted so much by the wind that it was swaying noticeably and making people feel ill. The structural engineers advised it is designed to sway a few hundred millimetres.
